Moving right along

The beautiful thing about an internet business is that things happen without you even knowing it. I just love to open up my email and find out I have new prospects and new affiliates joining my programs. I also found out I am at payout level in a couple of my survey sites so that's more good news. My business is growing steadily and it's a wonderful thing.

It's amazing how when you start to apply yourself, you can make things happen. I didn't always. When I first got involved with this thing, I believed the hype and thought I could make the quick buck by joining the programs that promised the world. "Do nothing and make millions", you know. I joined this and that and every other program that I thought looked good and didn't do anything but spin my wheels. I didn't go broke but I didn't build anything either. I started my website and then didn't do much with it. I idled for a couple of years. I got discouraged and lost interest. Then after going through some major changes in my personal life, I got "revved up" again and got back into it. I made up my mind I was going to do what it takes to make my business a success. I completely re-designed my website and started trying a few other things like adding Google adsence and doing some paid advertising for the SFI program and I'm getting results.

I'd like to say that to all of you that read this and are in an any affiliate program. It doesn't matter which one. If you WORK the program, the program will work for you. Fact is, a lot of people join a program or two and then never take the time to learn how to work it or they just don't put forth the effort to try and then they think it's a waste of time. They drop out or just remain inactive. It will never work for those people and truth be known, they are probably not the type that truly wants the independence of being their own boss. They just don't want to get out of their comfort zone. It's just easier to keep going to work every day and drawing that paycheck every two weeks. Any of you feel that way out there? Anybody out there really truly LOVE their job? Not me. I dream of the day that my entire income is as portable as my laptop. Run the business from anywhere with an internet connection and I can live wherever I want and travel anytime I want. Hmmm, I think I'll go do some more advertising. Bye for now.
